**National Institute for Health Research, Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC)**

Health Technology Assessment - Themed Call in the area of Pandemic Influenza

In response to the pandemic of H1N1 influenza the NIHR is inviting expressions of interest for research in this topic. The timetable for this is very short in order to provide evidence during the current pandemic.

The closing date is 26 June 2009.

**Wellbeing of Women**

Research Grants

The upper grant award limit will be £150,000 in total over two or three years for stillbirth, pregnancy and childbirth and quality of life issues and £300,000 for gynaecological cancer projects.

The closing date for applications is 4.00pm Tuesday 7th September 2009.

The deadline date for the Clinician Scientist Award has been extended to 26th June 2009

The most tangible benefit of being an NIHR Senior Investigator is membership of the NIHR College and the award of a £15,000 a year personal discretionary fund to support his or her research work.
